How to make a backup — start here
  1. Stop playback, mute monitoring, disconnect USB, and turn the unit off.
  2. Hold GRF 6 while switching power on, then release it.
  3. Press GRF 5 ten times before connecting USB.
  4. Connect USB. Open the AIRAMODULAR drive, then its BACKUP folder.
  5. Copy AIRA_MODULAR_ROM.BIN and ROMINFO.TXT to a safe folder on your computer. Keep this original pair untouched.
  6. Safely eject the drive and disconnect USB. Restart normally when finished. Select your saved copies below.

If BACKUP does not appear, stop and ask for help. Do not copy update files or start a restore just to make a backup.

Supports v1.05 builds 0491 and 0493.

An official *_UPD.BIN update or USERAREA.BIN is not a full-ROM backup.

Files are checked automatically when both are selected.

Compatibility details

Requires known boot/updater code, an exact build-0491 or build-0493 application fingerprint, native ROMINFO range, and one unambiguous Product record. Unknown builds and ambiguous record histories are blocked.

0493: four personalities and a return to Scooper tested on one Scooper. 0491: reported working by the project owner, with additional offline package tests. Other units are not independently validated. The tool preserves your firmware version; it does not upgrade 0491 to 0493 or fix its bugs.
